WHAT IF...FASTER MICRONESIA INDEPENDENCE?

These island nations were held by the US against their will for almost 50 years and used as nuclear testing grounds, killing and poisoning many. A change in the Cold War or presidency could prevent this. Far too many Americans and others don't even know Pacific Islanders exist. These islands were taken for military bases and economic exploitation by the US, Britain, France, Germany, Japan, and the Dutch. Most never had any intent to give them independence, human rights, or voting because they were not white. But it did not have to be that way. They could have stayed or become independent. Their people could gain rights and voting. Some may even become leaders within the larger colonial societies. This series is dedicated to scenarios and points of departure leading to Pacific Island Victory.
