Good luck in the next coming weeks Mo! Someone else commented it already but the way you flew past everyone, and handing out advice as well. Incredible.

Loved this Mo, London is my first marathon and I’ve got a couple of races beforehand including a trail and a 20mile 🎉 May as well get a medal for it 🙌🏾🙌🏾🏁🏁

Very useful. I've got a practice 13k race this coming weekend and I booked it in for so many of these reasons. I have my PB half attempt in about 8 weeks from now. This has solidified that call to race this weekend. Thank you..

For the nutrition, here's some advice, never have Taco Bell 2 hours before a race... 😀. I learned this the hard way

God bless you on your London Marathon!

Currently training for Shamrock’n 10K for St. Patrick’s Day (my first), then a huge step up to Urban Cow ½ Marathon with Team World Vision raising funds for clean water wells.
Love to my Running Channel family.

I didn't understand at first why you were on the sidewalk. Then i realized how many people you were passing! 😆 Great job! I do practice races because, like you said in tip 6, training alone is hard and long. Having a race gives me something sooner to look forward to than my A race, makes sure my mileage is on track, and is just plain fun! It wouldn't be nearly as fun for me to JUST run 1-2 races a year!

You were running past everyone 😂 Did you start near the back? Good luck for London, you made that pace look very comfortable 👌👌

I spontanously signed up for Valencia half-marathon. It is my first HM and apparently there are 20k people on start line, which is little daunting. I plan to do Prague 10k ~2 months before, which is ~8k racers just to get used to running in bigger groups.

Stirring stuff.
Plus, not being a resident of the Smoke and having failed twice to qualify for the London Marathon by ballot, I really enjoyed touring the sights and sites doing the Vitality 10, 000 last May around a similar course.
Whatever: the best of luck on the big day! And remember, it's not the winning, it's working up an heroic thirst.

My first marathon (London) coming up, have a local half marathon planned in a few weeks. Definitely need to test my kit as you said: new shoes, new watch and waist belt!
