VW should start redesigning it's DSG transmission cause boy that thing is a pain in the ass to own. The mechatronics on that transmission usually give way around 90 000 km and fixing them will cost you around R35 000 if I had money to go for this car I would definitely go for the standard transmission. Stay away from DSG it's just not reliable.

Yeah my guy.. comparing Golf 8 GTI with Golf 7.5 TCR.. not fair… TCR is a modified GTI with a big turbo.. that same turbo is used on the Golf R 7 (Not 7.5) prior 2016… so GTI and TCR are not the same.. the same we have R.
