All I could think about throughout this is how badly I want a clear board and cool markers

Surely you also need to consider the natural immunity given by having the infection...

My biggest take away from this is: I want that transparent board!

5:11 ‘it’s difficult to say’

That’s literally the most accurate phrase we can take out of this whole pandemic. No one, not even scientists still today, can’t say anything for sure. Still too many uncertainties and not enough conclusive data. Instead of saying how are we going to beat this pandemic we should be saying how are we going to learn to live with this pandemic.

I just realized, a lot of people have already recovered as well. Would that contribute to a major herd immunity..there are millions already.

It's 3:00 am in Washington and somehow I ended up watching this.

It will come when the majority of public opinion is "we've had enough" that's when this all ends.

Do u think theirs another lockdown this autumn with new variants or does the vaccine reduce serious disease with all variants

And what about those who already recovered? Are they considered as vaccinated? What about those new variants then?

Very informative video. When talking with people about 'herd immunity', I am staggered by the amount of people who believe, despite all evidence, that it requires a laissez faire attitude and leaving it to the body's natural immune system.

Saying we all want to be together again, is a bit rich. I never agreed to the lockdowns. Getting infected and developing immunity would work fine for many people.

Why no consideration for natural immunity through infection.

Horde immunity.
If they develop profile(s) of the most vulnerable, and immunize down the list, they will soon see that only a small fraction of the population needs it.

That figure of 87pc would mean everybody over the age of 12, and does not take into account that many people do not want to be vaccinated, or indeed cannot be because of health issues.

A very interesting presentation but there seems to be no account made of the immunity inferred to those who contract the virus and recover. I think I may be 'missing something' because BBC report would have mentioned this in the video if it was relevant. Can some one correct me?

Well as of April 2021 we are at about 70% immunity level!

I know this is a serious topic and was an interesting watch but I’d like to say that the presenter is gorgeous.

1) Herd immunity is never to be reached for sars cov2. 2) this "mortal" threat, in a year, has killed three inmunosuppressed old men each ten thousand people. Really worth losing your mind, job and freedom for it.
