Montessori Toy Rotation in 3 steps!

🔥 When you are setting up your Montessori shelf remember to observe, store and rotate.

✅ Montessori encourage parents to limit the
number of activities available for your babies to the ones they are working to master.

💕 You can display a limited number of activities (I usually display 6) on a low shelf in their
play area.

1. Observe: see what is your baby working on master, is there any activity too easy or too difficult?
2. Store: When you notice that your baby is no longer interested in an activity or it appears to be too easy or difficult for him/her, you can store it for another time.
3. Rotate: bring a new activity to replace the one your baby is not interested, and repeat!

🤔 How often? Every child is different, you can do this daily or weekly, there is no wrong or right answer!

If you see that something is too easy for them but they still play with it should you rotate it out with something harder or leave it cuz they still go to it? Like my daughter has a puzzle and it literally takes her maybe 1 minutes to do should I try to find a more complicated puzzle or wait until she’s no longer interested in it at all?
