We keep the crazy toys downstairs too and we have a playroom/homeschool room with stem and open ended toys. We also used a towel closet to store toys at our old house. As the kids get older the toys start looking more traditional. My 5.5 year old would never let me get rid of a new toy or return it, but now injury to keep it more minimal, stem, and open ended.

I would love to see a similar video but for outside! Like your favorite sensory activities, things you have outside to entertain your kids, favorite outdoor activities, etc! I feel like all your play videos are super helpful for me because we have a very similar approach and style! :)

It’s not so much “parenting” children (with the toys and aesthetic) as it is just how you like to decorate and style your home. Your playroom is obviously thought out and decorated how you like it and a large space in your home. Just because you have babies now doesn’t mean your house needs to fully be a rainbow play place. I get it and I’m the same way. I like browns and beige and plants all over my house! It’s relaxing and comforting to me. I used to get upset when family and friends would send clothes and toys I just didn’t like at all but the older my 3 babies get I’ve let others know what I would like for my children. Everyone has their own style and there’s nothing wrong with that! “Getting hate” seems ridiculous but I understand where people are coming from if your playroom and things are literally wood and every shade of brown but it’s obviously not. Anyway, long point but there’s nothing wrong with liking things and not liking things.. obviously! 🤍🍃

I actually love that it isn't colorful, I personally find certain colors to be "loud." Which can overstimulate me so I can only imagine what it can do to my toddler. So excited to purchase some of these sets!

I love the Montessori/Reggio inspired setup! The natural colors aren’t overstimulating and the play spaces encourages curiosity and long engagement. As a former preschool teacher we’d leave the same setup out for at least a week (max 2 weeks) to really support their attention and exploration of toys. If there’s something that they constantly engage with we’ll definitely leave it out longer. Love love love it.
