4:12 That was quite a surprise for someone, who has never taken functional analysis (and any pure math classes beyond some minor self-study for that matter).
Would have never thought there are linear operators that are not continuous, let alone that derivative operator (such a familiar example!) would be one of them.

Great instructional technique -- I learned a lot. I would recommend going easier on the software that auto-cuts the dead space and move the camera slightly farther away. The effect is jarring and aggressive. Look at Richard Borcherds' videos for a nice math setup with his face off to the side and the math front and center.
