Never in a million years have I thought I wanted a prius, but now? You better believe I want this thing.

After Toyota proved they could make an AWD hybrid Rav4 that gets to 60 in under 8 seconds and can get 40MPG, there was no reason for the Prius to be as slow as it was. This is finally a no-compromises Prius.

The more I look at the interior the more I actually like its simplicity. So many new cars are so busy and complicated and this has what you need, and nothing more. Having the display up high like that actually makes it usable and safer, you don't have to look down and take your eyes so far off the road.

The styling is actually really cool for a Prius and a modern Toyota. I think the best next move should be a mini pickup like the Maverick. I'd probably honestly take that over a Maverick.

The Prius has always been a well-engineered and highly durable vehicle, but now it has looks and power! I'm constantly searching for a reason to get rid of my 2012 Prius but it refuses to give me one. Didn't even have to get new brake pads until over 100k. Such a reliable and cost effective vehicle, probably the best engineered that Toyota sells in our market. Only gripe with mine is the seats aren't comfy enough for long trips.

I’m glad manufacturing have woken up to the fact that exterior styling is important

Wow, this is extremely impressive. 198HP and AWD, with a very stylized body. Toyota finally made the prius a nice vehicle.

Might be a weird thing to point out, but I found it so damn satisfying seeing you knock your shoes together before getting into the vehicle. I do the exact same thing. Lol

Also, never thought I'd say this... but... this new Prius is actually pretty cool.

... I like it. Not something I'd expect to say about a Prius.

This has to be the best car out there all things considered. Good price, nice looks, beautiful interior, good driving dynamics, extremely efficient, AWD, spacious, and bomb-proof reliability.

Amazing. It has all what he should have. MPG, appearance, power, functionality, all perfect. I would say that it is the best car launched by Toyota in 2023.

Chris, I want to see this excellent new drivetrain and suspension in a new Prius V. The 16 mpg penalty that comes with the Corolla Cross Hybrid is massive .

Toyota hit it out of the park with the exterior design of this car. It is very, very good looking.

I hate to admit this, but this is how the Prius should have been from the beginning. Toyota is taking that "no more boring cars" statement to heart, which is awesome to see.

Can't wait to be on the 5 year waiting list to get one of these

Dude, you are the best. Love how you focus on the things that matter and not on the glitz and glamour. Such as wheel size, 17" are better for road comfort and tire availability. No other reviews are this practical. Thank you!

Get ready for 4-5 figure mark-ups. Toyota only expects to sell around 35K annually, which is only slightly more than the outgoing model sold in 2021. My guess is that they won't produce a lot of them, creating a "shortage." Stealerships will take advantage of that.

It's so funny how I've never wanted a Prius, but now I'm actually very seriously wanting to buy one.

Its a damn shame they stopped selling Prius in Australia with this generation! They finally made a desireable one :(

Toyota messed up by copying Peugeot interior style but not doing it correctly. You can't have the instruments above the steering wheel if the steering wheel is positioned like in a normal car, and is the normal size. The steering has to be smaller and has to be cut off on top, or flattened at least. This is just idiotically bad design as it will obstruct the view for 90% of people and limits your driving position. A mistake so bad it will cost Toyota a lot as it will be a deal breaker on an otherwise almost perfect car.

I am bouncing back and forth between the AWD and the Prime. Thanks for the drive around time. The sound was excellent in the video as well.
