They need to add a mechanism to trade in 2-3 existing premiums for a new one. I have several premiums (Forest Spirit, the Astron Rex twin, etc) that I'd happily trade in IF I could add their values and get something new.

The list of trade-in vehicles is simply too small and too old. There's maybe handful of tanks that are worth the trade, but once you have them, the whole event is pretty pointless.

You 'get' gold value?... Nah nah... you'll basically always pay whenever you do "trading".
This is basically the potential discount event, pay a bit less than usual.

The trade in 'event' is one of the best opportunities to get premium tanks cheep, but is has a HUGE FLAW. The big problem is the rental system. As you can see, you can not buy tanks, that you have as rental (like for 10 battles), they register as if you already have the tanks. But the real issue is that you can not simply remove rental tanks, you have to play all the rental battles first. This means, you either have to set up the tank, and waste 10 battles worth of repair, ammo, consumable, maybe even equipment costs. The other way is to simply burn the battles while being afk, or suiciding, not even taking ammo with you. This is the cheapest and fastest option, but it is very harmful for the game, for other players, and even for your own stats. But there are no other options to get the tank for real... I asked wg support many times for that, but they refuse to enable it.

Dez! Next time, please highlight that you don't see certain tanks in the list of trade-ins if you already have them as rentals...

Most of the tanks are ancient or usless that you could get, on the top of that you have to pay gold, that's the most useless event.. like why they dont put progetto 46 for example and make it available for gold.

so they made the product they sold us for real money obsolete and unusable, and now we have an option to exchange to another product with a discount. so a scam.

I've used the trade in 3 times now to swap some of my long forgotten 2014 premiums like is-6 and t34 (also alpine tiger using bonds) for more "meta" picks like the obj 703 II, cs-52 lis, and elc even 90.

Don't get me wrong, I loved the is-6 and t34 when they came out because the game was such a different beast back then but nonetheless what were once beast tanks a decade ago have been power crept to the sidelines.

Dez I want to tell you something I found out!
I gave a tank from a referral for exchange.. Later I managed to get it back by writing a ticket!!! I got two tanks for 1500 gold and 2.1m credits! It only works if you give the tank that was received in the referral!!

If they had made it so I can combine two bad tanks to trade for one good one so I don't have to spend my gold (real world money) i would have considered it, but the way it is I will pass on this event.

jagdtiger prt is the best credit farmer imo, i get 100-200k credits per game w a 50% credits booster plus its a really nice tank at t8 😄
