Huge respect for the man. There are huge pitfalls in the kind of 'accelerationist' stance taken increasingly by those on the right. Meanwhile 'Net Zero' is the result of equally crazed accelerationist thinking on the left (that we have to take drastic action now to prevent some putative climate disaster caused by inaction).

Faith does not exclude reason. It is not irrational. It involves accepting something as true on the basis that it comes from what one regards as a trustworthy source. We do this all the time, and it is necessary for the well functioning of the individual, family and society.
Woke is possibly a pseudoreligion, a substitute for the real thing.
