Cera Tec is a high-tech ceramic wear protection. Reduces friction and wear through ceramic compounds offering high chemical and thermal resistance. Prevents direct metal-to-metal contact, thus increasing the assembly service life. Reduces fuel consumption in gasoline and diesel engines thanks to the low-friction effect. Miscible with all commercially available motor oils and motor vehicle gear oils.

I’ve used ceratec in my Rover 75 diesel (114k miles) approx 183k kilometres on it, I check my fuel consumption every time I top up, and not only is the car quieter and smoother on tickover, mpg has gone up from around 48, to 50. Not much, but a calculated noticeable difference. I’m most impressed

Saved my manual transmission. Started to make noise like bearing is worn. And it’s a model famous about this problem. I decided to try it in transmission because I used it before in engines of all my cars and I like it, but did not expect it will work. After about 700 kilometers noise went away and even problem with shifting from 3. to 4. gear. Shift quality also improved in other gears. I put it on 273 000 kilometers few years ago. Now car have 390 000 kilometers and still works great. Since then I use it in everything. And it’s relatively cheap for what it is and how well it works. No problems with vvt solenoids. Like Scotty Kilmer sad without trying it.

Had a top end rebuild on a Fiesta ST 180, running in period of 400 miles so far i get a progressive clacking sound on cold starts but disappears when engine up to temperature. would this potentially eradicate this noise? looking to add this with the next oil change.

Hi there. I had a couple questions please. I'm an auto tech and definitely and oil/lube nerd😂. I am using ceratec on a couple vehicles. I got a VOA on Ceratec. I didn't realize how much Moly is in it (4600 ppm). Is that modtc Moly or tri Moly? Or is it m0s2? I would think it's modtc but I didn't know for sure. The boron showed around 2400ppm. But is it hex-'nitride' or 'oxide'? The msds says oxide. But I know the nitride variety is synthesized from boron trioxide. So maybe that's why it says that? But I wanted to know for sure if the final product is hex-'nitride' I saw roughly 800 ppm zddp and 1600 calcium. Is the calcium there mainly as a carrier for the boron and to raise TBN a little? This isn't a negative thing because I do like the product, but I do wonder if all that Moly and calcium would compete for surface area plating and win out over the zddp and boron. Because zddp is definitely a tough boundary layer that for sure does work to prevent wear. I know I have several questions in there but I'd really like to know. Thanks so much... Have a great day!

I run it in my Honda Legend V6 3.5L VTEC and the biggest change I notice is a more silent cold start. I was wondering, if you use injection system cleaner, will that hurt the Ceratec?

Particles kling to cylinder wall....ignition occurs....Particles and film of oil are separated as film of oil is burnt off....normal next step is to go out via exhaust valve....but they are now micro scouring powder....How does it effect exhaust valve?

hello, is there any problem if I add the Ceratec ceramic additive from liqui moly, but after 100 km from the oil change, I just discovered it after the change and it even has good reviews on amazon, as there aren't many for other products, over 20, 000 of reviews... mostly positive, so I'm curious if in contact with the used oil for about 100 km, this additive not being mixed, and not being fresh oil, is it ok?
can it damage my engine?
