Learn how LIQUI MOLY additives can save you from high repair bills and protect your vehicle.

Cera Tec is a high-tech ceramic wear protection and can be mixed with all commercially available oils. Cera Tec reduces friction and wear by using chemically and thermally extremely high-resilient ceramic compounds. Prevents direct metal/metal contact, increasing the service life of the aggregate. The smooth-running effect reduces fuel consumption in gasoline and diesel engines.

Say my car needs 5.2 litres of engine oil, do i need to reduce the engine oil quantity by 300ml to use Ceratec (or) should use 5.2 litres of engine oil even using Ceratec ( which is 300 ml quantity ) without any issue of overfill..

Is very little or none information about Ceratec and GDI turbocharged
engines, perhaps more you add to the oil more stuff can buildup in the
intake valves?.

Hii, I have changed motor oil with "liqui moly 4600 5w-30 dexos2" nearly 800-900km ago / 3 weeks ago. My car is at 49000km and it has diesel 1.6 motor. I want to use ceratec but i am not sure to do it because my new oil is not completely fresh. Is it usefull for me to use ceratec or should i wait until next oil change time for fresh 5w-30 4600 LiquiMoly oil?

Hi, I'm really concern is it safe to mix LIQUI MOLY Ceratec with SN Plus or ILSAC GF-6A oil spec LSPI (Low Speed Pre-Ignition) protection engine oil.
Would Ceratec be reduced those GF-6A oil spec regarding of (LSPI) protection ?

Because I can't find any related info about Ceratec and (LSPI) on the LIQUI MOLY websit.

I use Ceratec in my old 5.7L Subruban. It runs nice and smooth, but does Ceratec fall to the bottom of the oil pan if I only drive it once every couple of weeks, or even every few weeks?

I`m using Liquimoly 10W-40 MOS2 engine oil so I guess it`s not a good idea to add ceratec to this type of engine oil which already comes with MOS2 pre-added. If you could please clarify this. My car is a well kept old German 80`s turbo Ford Escort RS. Runs smooth and is a daily driver still.
