so, I chemically dyed over Henna... What Happened To My Hair...

So, I did a thing... I my last video I mentioned that I wanted to put box dye, or a chemcial dye, over my henna hair, and many of you warned me not to! Thank you for that advice! Watch to see what happened to my natural hair when I did! XO, Nap

I know grey hair isn't for everyone, but I just would like to add my personal perspective. I got my first grey when I was around 10, and of course, dying was not an option at that age. By 16 I had a grey streek and for some reason I thought it was kinda cool and unique which was good because my mom wouldn't let me dye it even if I had wanted to. Now I think my grey streek is still a very nice contrast to my youthful face, and because I've had grey most of my life I'm very comfortable with it and I don't intend to color it as I get older even when I'm at an age where most people have grey anyway.

I COMPLETELY understand. As someone who hasn’t “dirty brown” hair color, were it’s never black or brown enough, I decided to permanently dye my hair black. It makes me love my hair more and I’m so over the moon happy with it!❤️❤️

I'm so happy that you're happy! I had grays in the front of my hair... around my edges!! I hated it, so I had to go get my hair dyed! Then when I needed a retouch, I got a demi color that covered my gray and enhanced my color.. if you're not ready for the gray, it can really make you feel down.

The decision was for you!! I embraced my gray strains for several years. They gave a regal look at least to me. When it got ashy looking this year I was having a complex and decided to color my hair. I don't regret the decision. It makes a huge difference on how YOU feel about yourself.

I am older but embrace my salt & pepper hair! Honestly, I loved your hair with the touch of gray. It shows wisdom and you can say you worked hard for every hair! It was a struggle at first but I actually LOVE and embrace all my grey hair.. 👩🏽‍🦳 … I stopped dye around 2018-19 and never looked back. I hope more naturals decide to rock the grey- because we NEED more Purple shampoo options for our aging Curls!
