Joshua Grant is a very young drummer based in Atlanta, Georgia. Joshua is endorsed with 1710 percussion, drum dots, empire ears and vicfirth. In this video, he hears a song for the first time (drumless) and plays his part. After doing this with a SLIPKNOT song that ended up being our most viewed video on the channel, I had to bring him back and give him a song, highly requested by the comments, that he's never heard before, THE TROOPER by Iron Maiden. Young Joshua is no longer a Gospel Drummer. You can tell he been practicing hard since the Slipknot song, he jumped right in with heavy confidence and absolutely killed it, both times. Love this man, hes an inspiration for young drummers everwhere.

You could see at the beginning, he was like "Oh, it repeats again? OK. Oh they're solo'ing now, time to change it up." After the brief hesitation to get the timing, he was in the pocket the rest of the way. Good stuff.

BRUH!!! I'm 55 years old and have listened to that song hundreds of times since my teens. I've always been a drummer, but never learned to play. I know this drum track VERY well. You just absolutely AMAZED me with that!! I cannot understand how you were able to do that. You'r a an incredible drummer, young man and you have a great future ahead of you. You remind me a little of Carter Beauford. Great job!
