I had no recollection of this amazing actor before seeing her in 1923. Her acting is incredible and watching her mobility and vigor on screen I really thought it was a younger actress portraying an older character. Upon finding out her age I’m speechless.

I saw Helen be rather ferocious once. It was caught on tape when she shooed a bear away from her house. "Naughty bear." Perhaps she was just channeling being 'regal' like one of her Queen Elizabeths. Expecting to be obeyed. The bear listened too and skedaddled.
