Today I share a technique of an Animal Form in Kung Fu, the Snake.

The characteristic of Snake form its fluidity, agility and speed. Solid body work and hands techniques are important to master the Snake style.

Goes well with the drunken technique, Snake style is all about flexible fluidity as shown by the master above, And to counter this technique needs extremely fast reflexes like the Cat or the Monkey technique!! Snake style is a style which more than dangerous is quite unconventional But Vicious, The attack points are always based on the eyes, the groin the throat, SOME what like the Wingchun technique!! 😅

I love how you mentioned the phrase, "more power". When I demonstrate Wah Lum style 16 hands to my class, my Sifu tells me I need more power behind the movements. I'm not totally sure what he means by that. Watching your snake demo, kinda explains it a bit to me. Thank you, you're technique in this form is amazing!!!

I could be wrong but it seems to me that the most valuable practical application from this style is how the arms are used to trap and lock the opponents movements, similar to how Wing Chun has sticky hands training. would i be right in that ?
