I love Odysseys. My 2000 has 230K miles, my 2003 has 130K, and my 2011 has 85K. After seeing the interior in the back, that can't be the original paint in such great shape! I like to work on mine and obviously I have plenty of opportunities-I just wish I had a place to spray new paint on the 00 now and the 03 soon. My only suggestion is, that when I removed and replaced the AC evaporator coils in both the '00 and '03, the evap housing had sucked in so many leaves that topsoil had started to form! It was a big job to clean those out. If I were you I'd get the shop vac and get ALL of those leave off and out and keep a vinyl frost screen on the windshield during the Fall to help keep them out. That's what I do. Now I am obsessive compulsive about keeping leaves off of the windshield vents above the hood to the point where I pick them all out before I drive the van. Also, Shudder Fix in the little red tube fixed my torque convertor shudder in the '00, if that happens to be one of your problems.

It's very impressive that the glass transmission in this even made it to 311k. I agree with you on just driving how it is and selling it once you find a good replacement at a good price. Anyone who advocates for a rebuild on these trans doesn't get it. They will break again and again and spending $3000 to temporarily fix a car that might be worth $2k is foolish. At 300k this car has lived a full life. Most of these odysseys ended up as junk before 200k

Nice video on the van . Just wondering how much would it cost to repair the transmission?
