I had been looking for an 'overbuilt' folder and was disappointed with one I had bought from another source for over $100. Then I found this Batum. Almost bought it from elsewhere for nearly twice the price. Fortunately I found it on your site first. It is exactly what I was looking for. Love it. It is actually the same blade thickness of my Ka-Bar Becker BK7 which I use for the rough stuff. I don't plan on using any folder for batoning kindling but the Batum is super sturdy. For my use the steel is fine. I have different carry knives for different times and places. This is perfect for in and around the house. I live in the woods so it is always good to have this kind of heavy folder in my pocket. Oh, and your catalog came yesterday. Thanks SMKW.

I like the looks of it (if it doesn't sell out first, LOL, it'll probably find it's way either onto my next online order, or on my ticket to take to the register next trip to visit the store). Nice review, Andy 😊✌

Not sure what to think of the big chunky knives like the Batum. I don't think I'd EDC it but it'd be a cool knife to have to use once in awhile.
