An excellent, informative, level headed review. The video is logically structured, edited, super high quality and visually rich. The content is to the point and 100% bs free, which is a rare treat. Your test engineer approach adds a technical edge to the narrative and answers the questions that come to mind during viewing. Your practical suggestions concerning the shortcomings you found are helpful. The printed samples at the end illustrate the range of the printer efficiently. Well done! Keep it up.

Seems a lot better than their previous printers, but has some fine details to work out. Thanks for the video!

This is a brilliant review, thank you! I have had this machine for a few months, it's been great so far, very happy with it. I agree with all your comments, I think overall the positives far outweigh the negatives. I've done some interesting prints with flexible TPU and PLA, the TPU is mechanically constrained within the PLA for flexible hinges, the IDEX is great for this. I'm about to try printing with PC so your tip on blocking the cooling fan will be very helpful. Also your process of bed levelling is interesting, I hadn't realised there was more info on level within the slicer, I will take a look at this!

Really well done review. This is a nice machine for sure. I have the latest Creator Pro 2 and really like it. The idex compared to the dreamer that I had is a great upgrade. Idex makes a huge difference in duel color printing quality IMO. Thanks for this informative review. I just subscribed... ;-)

Hey Dombil!
Happy for you that your channel has reached that size!

The Flash Forge Printers are quite nice,
but they have a relatively small build volume and build quality.

I would never buy this printer for this price.
For around 3000 Dollar you can get more than 4 Prusa printers.

I would prefer even only one Prusa to the flash forge.

Great review, thanx. I also have v1 with some mods from v2 and using it for about of 1.5 years. Auto leveling before a print was disabled in some recent version of firmware but introduced again, yes it little bit annoying cause the frame is very stiff and z axis repeatability is very high.

Thank you. Did you notice any difference in print between standard leveling procedure, and the more accurate manual guage process that you did later in the video?

Hi, thanks for this informative insight. I don't know if you still read old comments but I'm kinda torn between FF3 Pro and Qidi I-Fast (no IDEX, but still dual extruder). Price is similar but I was wondering if you had a chance to test them both. My main concern regarding FF3Pro is the noise level. For Qidi is their limited support regarding the firmware/slicer (at least what I could find based on the reviews).

Thanks,
Blichew

Great review! I assumed that you could set an idle temperature for each toolhead for when they are not in use in FF's slicer and that you could set appropriate level of part cooling for each toolhead? Those are pretty basic functions..

Based on your time with this printer would you be confident in its abilities to reliably print PA-HT filled with carbon fiber?

If the company already tested the printer with filaments how comes you need to do all the calibration again?

In your opinion, which is the best and reliable 3D printer with direct driver extruder and at least 300mm x 250mm printing area? Could be idex or single extruder. I need to print insoles in TPU. Maximum 300mm long. But I’m not a specialist… so I prefer to buy a printer with no need for modifications. Cheers
