You know,
I was hesitant to add "Part 1" to any part of the title lest people get the idea that it's just another Let's Play in 300 parts. Hope I didn't disappoint anyone, but I think I'd be inhuman if I could beat and edit an entire SE run in just 33 days

I love how he calls his “friends” bots in the first minute and then immediately proves it

Seeing a 3-man team take 106 hours to fully automate Vulcanite and Crynonite production makes me feel WAY better about how long it is taking me lmao

Using small electric motors to make big electric motors sounds like using violins to make cellos.

i feel like dosh is atm the best yt creator focusing on factorio right now his videos are fun to listen to, don't drag along for no reason and entertaining. great job, hope to see you cover more games in the future.

The knowledge that you’re completing your rocket at just 15:00 in has me learn to respect that mod’s length.

as someone that has never played factorio (and likely doesn't have the time to invest in learning the game) can I just say how entertaining this was to watch? your commentary, building wizardry, and design is so very very cool to watch. especially in the giant machines that just work when you start it up - chef's kiss!

I know this wasn't a fun run, including all of the work you had to do to make it work, but consider this one big thumbs up from someone that has never watched another factorio video where I sat through the whole thing start to finish here.

“Personally I like it when a base straddles the line between genius and insanity” yes I think we all remember Logibrain

By 12 minutes in you covered everything I had experienced until now during my playthrough. I'm in for a ride.

Made me realize that I went way too big of a scale before really teching up in space... In my 150h game i had individual cargo rockets for every basic ressources pretty much. That logistic requester setup will definitely be replicated on my side!

I'm terrible at Factorio, so when I got massive MandalorianGaming vibes from this channel, I knew I struck gold. The narration is onpoint, the subtle humor is sprinkled in without being ridiculous, the amount of knowledge you're imparted with is great! I forgot I I was watching an hour and a half long video.

These kinds are my favorite type to throw on in the background while I'm doing something else too. Hope to see more like this!

I've been waiting for this! Not only is it here, but you blessed us with a whole hour and 20 minutes of content. Thanks!!

1:09:39 pro tip, Spidertrons are an excellent way to semi-automate some extremely long-distance combat. especially with the Spidertron Extended mod and optionally Spidertron Squad Control mod. without the control mod, have a group of Spidertrons, they're all following each other, and the leader is queued to run around the biter nest. have one or two fully kitted out with bots and repair packs and the rest are combat, such as with lasers. they all need to be pretty fast with a lot of exoskeletons. they can cover huge distances and clear out a ton of biters very quickly and you can have multiple groups clearing out multiple areas at once.

Good grief, I can't believe you're really going to tackle Space Exploration like this. When it won the "next video" poll I genuinely thought it might kill your channel because you'd burn yourself out trying to finish it. Good luck! I'm looking forward to more 🤞

Space Exploration implies the universe is dead, ruled by a Biter Galactic Empire.

And you didn't scratch the surface for what the mod has to offer. With two friends. My lord, this mod is huge. And props to you for editing this monstrosity.

Hey thanks for playing SE (And showcasing one of my mods)! It seems you missed the "Any landing pad with name" option for cargo rockets.

Instead of one rocket that goes to "Nauvis Vulcanite Pad" and another rocket that goes to "Taras Vulcanite Pad" (like at 1:12:15), you can name your pads something like "Vulcanite blocks delivery" and then have a single rocket that goes to "Any landing pad with name Vulcanite blocks delivery".

In the future if you get another source of vulcanite, you can even have a second rocket targeting the same names. Rockets are smart and will only automatically launch to empty pads, one at a time.

This lets you have N-to-N delivery networks, very similar to how trains works.

Cheers!

Dear DoshDoshington, I just wanted to say it’s impressive how fast you are when it comes to Factorio. You made a LOT of progress on SE in only a hundred-ish hours, and during your Krastorio 2 video you beat the mod is only 50hrs. I just want to point out how efficient you are with your time thanks to building big immediately, and having very efficient builds which you think up and implement extremely fast! Love your content!
