Well, some of them look awesome, but some of them.... well, when I build Lamps then I place a block of andesite, and on it 4 times andesite fences. On these fences I place an anvil. On it a deep slate staircase. I place the stairs exactly as shown in the video, so that you can place a deep slate step on the smooth side of the stairs. Best at the top of the stairs. On the step comes a black oak trap door, so that you can place two more depth slate steps on the trapdoor. A lever comes to the last stage, which is in the direction of the stairs. Finally, I place a end rod on the first step you had placed, i.e. the one, on the stairs. Sounds weird now, but I made a video where I show it!
