I've been watching Sierra's rise for years and immediately knew Sierra Ferrell was desitned to become a once in a generation artist! From the first note, recognition, acclaim and success were undeniable! As they say, the real deal isn't something manufactuered by the entertainment industry. Sierra came literally right out of left field from a backwater, hard knock life. Her talent is just one part of the equation. It is also her grace, her soul, her profound humility, her vulnerability, groundedness and her deep appreciation. Amidst all the magic there is a workman-like quality to her performance. She knows she's there to put everything she's got into every song. Why do I say it's magic? Because her awesome musical powers seem to flow out of her being in a supremely elegant and effortless way. You must see her live as I have had the good fortune to do. When audiences breakout in ecstatuc screams and applause after a particular vocal phrasing or the slightest mannerism in the middle of a song, you know you're witness something truly apart from the world of ordinary experience.
