Hello! My name is Vasilisa. I hail from Vladivostok, Russia, where I was born and lived until the age of 23. After that, I spent several years residing in various Asian cities such as Shanghai, Kuala Lumpur, Macau, and Bali. After my travels, I returned to Russia to look at it from a different perspective...

Dear Lisa - congrats for this great and interesting travel report! It inspired me to spend hours researching the areas you traveled through by train (including the historical aspects). Russia covers such a large area and such diverse regions. Since I wouldn't be able to go on a trip like this due to my back problems, I'll just travel with you virtually and feel almost like I used to be on a journey of discovery in my younger years..🙂

What I find particularly wonderful is that you are "building bridges" between different people all over the world with your videos. "Ordinary" people all over the world ultimately want the same thing: we have similar dreams, wishes, fears and needs. Actually, every “normal” person just wants to live in peace, good health and a secure existence in love and harmony with our fellow creatures.
It's a shame that humanity has so far not learned to implement this on a large scale - but your videos definitely make a positive contribution. Big hug and keep it up...🤗

I planned my trip to from Europe to Vladivostok over Moscow, with Russian Trans-Siberian rail. This vide will be very helpful to me. I
also plan to read "War and peace" during that trip. Full Russian atmosphere :).

Oh Lisa, that brought back so many happy memories. I found the view from the train so captivating - and I am really looking forward to seeing Lake Baikal again. Best wishes.

I love the landscape! Everything is so green and the mountains and rivers remind me of the Pacific Northwest in the US 😀

I love hearing you speak Russian. As an Englishman I do not understand every word, but it is easy to understand most of what you say.
I loved my time living in Russia and travelling on trains. I hope one day it will be possible for me to return.

A week long journey. Siberia is literally like another country. Outside the main cities, its small towns and untouched wilderness. If you want to live in the middle of nowhere, its a perfect place! Only question is the remoteness on your bucket list? Not for everyone but for the right person it could be a dream come true. Six more days to go and lots more to see before Lisa arrives home in Moscow! 😊
