The limitation of the wrench is going to be the ratcheting mechanism, not how much load it can put on the fastener. If you really have to break a stuck bolt loose you should be using a socket with a breaker bar or a traditional box end.

While i hope they bring these back im pretty sure they stopped because warranty issues. 6 point can impart a lot more force and are easier to break things, so then it comes down to rachet or the fastener.

Ya ok but you shouldn't be putting that much force on a ratchet wrench anyway so I he twelve point seems more practical that's how you break them if they really was going out of stock then you wouldn't use it hard anyway it's not meant for you to put crazy pressure on them
