Drone Magnetometer/Compass not showing up in Betaflight? Quick fix here.

After a lot of research, I finally found the only YouTube video that talks about how to configure the I2C SDA/SCL port on the flight controller for GPS with magnometer and compass and how to configure and view it in the Betaflight CLI. Thanks a heap. Magnetometer now showing. One comment at the end of this thread was to make sure to add the Magnetometers option when flashing your FC. Note that after flashing, it still does NOT automatically show up... until we input the CLI commands you gave us.

Thanks this helped me on the right path. I also had to resource the tx/rx pin B10/b11 to cl/da. Finaly I had to "set i2c2_pullup = on". The last setting I don't see anybody recomending. Strange that there is no good turtorial on youtube on connecting baro and mag. BTW my FC are OmnibusF4. SCL and SDA is on the TX/RX3 pads.

if you want a Diatone Mamba H743 MK4 boards baro to work type set baro_hardware = DPS310 and both Baro and Compass came online after doing these commands then that one last that I just mentioned. was searching what baro this board used to decided to try it and boom! 💥

Hi I´ve a SpeedyBee F405 V3 with BE252i the GPS works but the i2c compass is not recognized, did you know if this compass is compatible with betafligth 4.3.2 BTFL? Thanks in advance!!

Cool. But Betaflight isn't allowing ANY "MAG" commands? Weird. It IS showing I have a "Baro"...but...uh...pretty sure I don't have one.

AH...when you "mag" commands don't show up in your CLI, MAKE SURE YOU INCLUDED the "MAGNETOMETER" in the options list when you FLASH YOUR FLIGHT CONTROLLER. 🤦🏼‍♂️

I guess that's how I got my Baro to work too...ya know...BY ACCIDENT. 🙄

everything is so small I can't se what you do in betaflight configurator. One would need to watch this on a big screen TV to see what you are doing.

I did that twice and double checked the way you typed it vs how I wrote it and I got “error in set: invalid name: what you said to type in” for each thing.

i've got a mamba H743 MK4 FC and baro and compass will not work. have tried so many settings in the CLI and nothing is working. anyone have any suggestions? msged Diatone 10x plus times no response. finding nothing to help get them working. needed them and this board was a good option. blows they don't work.
