Foxcon is not a Chinese company. It is Taiwanese company.

Lets see if Foxconn can stay competitive with US workers. They will not work as hard as the ones in China. The product manufacturing cost will go up.

Is it true, 13, 000 jobs, really? Americans could get shocked when Foxcon starts its operation in the near future with only a few hundred jobs since its factory is so advance that it is fully automated, using a lot of robots. One of my friends has toured a very large Chinese car tyre manufacturing plant recently opened in Thailand and was shocked to find only 30-40 workers whose main jobs are maintenance and service to all robots and computers in order to make them work smoothly!

Why American want to work in Foxconn? It's an assembly line for iPhone. It must be an automation factory with very few human jobs.

Of course Alibaba declined to comment. The Party gave all the Chinese business to Alibaba. They own Alibaba! They don’t want Alibaba to invest in the US!
