Investors cheer as China wraps up two-year tech crackdown

Investors are cheering the confirmation that China is ending a two-year long crackdown on its tech sector. A top Chinese central bank official said rectification of the financial businesses of 14 internet firms has been completed. Chinese tech stocks listed in Hong Kong jumped -- internet and gaming giant Tencent gained 3.6%, while Alibaba soared nearly 9% to a six-month high.
