Røkelaks, as it's called, is so delicious. On bread with butter and mayonnaise, and perhaps some scrambled eggs... That's a real, Norwegian, Sunday breakfast delicacy.

Been cold smoking Salmon in my back yard for four years now. Use to get Norwegian Salmon from Fulton Fish Market. But this year they did have Salmon from Norway. I got some Ora King from New Zealand. OMG. Just amazing.
I like the hanging process. Will try that next time. Three days of smoking would kill me. I do 24 hours and i like sleep for a few days.

Absolutely love smoked salmon. It has a very unique flavour. But its not advised to eat loads of it as you can end up with mercury poison. I try to eat it at least once a month tho as a treat.
