Awakening. In the making in the foothills of the Indian Himalaya.

This piece was painted during the Monsoon season in the foothills of the Indian Himalaya. It depicts the infinite view from up there on a surreal day that was filled with both bright sunshine and thick fog at the height of the Monsoon.

Together with a talented videographer, bringthehorizon:
we have spent a few incredible days up there, creating this painting and a short film about the journey. We would take the blank canvas and go through the veils of fog to reach the top, where the Kunjapuri temple is situated (1676m)
