Know the difference between alert barking and nuisance barking. A dog should always be praised for an alert bark. Dont know what I’d do without my protectors letting me know something is going on. I know what my dogs are doing just by their barks. Playing. Setting boundaries. Declaring their yard is their dominion. People alert. Animal alert. Know your dogs. I do have one dog that likes to “talk” to a dog several blocks away. They have a nightly talk about dusk. I allow a little of that. Lol. Wish I knew what they said to each other.

Redirection... ok... if they are barking ever 20 minutes every waking moment that will get old very quickly. I've had my 6 month old puppy for 3 months, the barking is worse than ever. I tried your methods... he is still like this... ive done it for months and im ready to givw up

Okay but the question is how to get your dog to not even make the first barking noise at another dog. It sucks that my well behaved dog has to get barked at during a walk. Think about it, how would you feel if whenever you go out for a walk, your neighbor always yell at you, not for long, just a short "hey f you" as you walk by them.
