Did anyone notice that the girl doesn’t eat for her self she only feeds the monster maybe the monster is her inner self so when she feeds the monster she feeds her self 🧐

did you notice that when embry went down the basement that might not have been a dream and the monsters arent dangerous? the staircase is so long that embrys mom and dad could have tripped causing them to fall and die, the mosters thought they were food and ate them but with embry they recognised her as "the humanode who feeds us"and when she "woke up" she actually passed out and them monsters took her to bed and locked the door behind her, makeing it seem like a dream.

Notice how Embry never eats? I'm pretty sure that's what the monster means by "I'm you" (or whatever they said, I don't really remeber 😅) They mean it literally. Also, I feel like Embry enjoys feeding this monster inside of them because that's all they have left, their parents are gone and it's clear their lying about the state of their life to everybody else. It's like a toxic relationship, Embry is scared of these monsters but since they're all they have left they cling to them like a lifeline. I think she's scared of being lonely. Maybe Embry has anxiety also, and these monsters their feeding are them leaning into the toxic thoughts that anxiety gives you without a support system. Dr. Light could be a psychologist then, he tries to help her through this and they ends up pushing him away.

Rip for Dr. D Light. He was a really enjoyable character and that he didn’t deserve that kind of death.

I strait up started tearing up when Dr. D light was killed. He just wanted to help.. And was so joyful.

Embry seems like she went through some severe trauma.
Parents going missing, having to live in a hard condition will make you go a bit crazy and panic in hard situations. I believe she felt like she could've just told everyone "my parents are missing. Can you inspect the basement?"
Also, I'm pretty sure she has PTSD.
