I started my journey at Washington DC airport, only to find it closed! With nowhere else to go, I spent the night sleeping at the airport until the counters opened. Once they did, I completed the check-in process, got my boarding pass, and boarded my flight to sunny Miami. ☀️🌴

After landing in Miami, we spent the entire day at the airport due to some delays before finally heading to our hostel. I wrapped up the day with a full hostel tour, showing where we stayed and what it offered.

This is the main method in North America to pay for secutiry deposit, and yes this is done by card because receptionist are just employee and hotels IT/account department normally centralized take care of such payments, reception or supervisory staff in hotels/motels are not allowed to take cash etc

Some corrections: US citizens who cannot drive or don't have Driving license use a State ID card. Usually immigrants who come to US on green card usually get the State ID first before they apply for driving license. Secondly most businesses don't accept cash as deposit because there is no trail or proof that someone collected cash from you if they deliberately pocket it. Business prefer cashless transactions to avoid cash mishandling and also it is easier to manage card transactions in system.

Whether it's a car rental or hotel stay, a credit card is necessary. This is a rule in the US or Canada. Cash does not work. You get your $$$ returned, within 3 days of your departure.

For domestic flights in the USA, you can carry water and food without restrictions. However, these rules are different for international flights, where there are stricter limits.
