Andy Weir's third book, Project Hail Mary, is also a fantastic read. If you like The Martian, you'll like Project Hail Mary.

I just wanted to let you know that your content has really inspired me. I'm in a rough spot in my life, and taking this next leap has been EXTREMELY difficult to me. I've researched all the risk and what not, but I am almost ready to make the jump and just do something that makes me happy. I don't know if that was one of the intents of your content, but I just had to let you know you've really inspired me to just simply do better for myself. I can't help the world when I'm so miserable that I can't help myself.

If you loved The Martian I highly, highly recommend Project Hail Mary, also by Andy Weir. It’s the spiritual successor to The Martian but absolutely still manages to be its own thing. You would love it.

If you liked The Martian, I cannot recommend Ted Chiang's books more strongly; they're called "Stories of my Life and Others" and "Exhalation".

They're both collections of short stories that are science fiction, and some examine Abrahamic religions (e.g., what the world would look like if biblical stories were true in a literal sense with concrete evidence). They're both incredible.

That cloud book is probably such a fun read even for someone who sits inside all day.
