Thanks. I was able to reset the language on my Samsung. For a few moments I was afraid that China had invaded Taiwan this morning, now that they know that the U.S. doesn’t back its allies.

apparently I followed to reset app on my Samsung Smart tv. I went thru entire English listing and none of those options worked. Finally clicked on "Reset App" the did reset because I had sign back in with my log in credentials. After login I'd hope the app would adjust and remove the Chinese characters it did not. I know the contents can still be viewed but I feel like I'm being monitored it feels so uncomfortable.. your video does show it worked which is good but the method does not seem to be blanket resolution for tv brands.

For me I changed the language to I’m and then to English and it worked

Go to YouTube TV settings and change to another language, like Spanish, then reset back to English.

Fully reboot the TV. Pres and hold the power button for 10 sec. It should fully reboot and fix itself.

DO NOT LISTEN TO THIS GUY. I reset the app like he suggested and I lost everything, all my subscriptions, history, everything. Thanks a lot.
