Regulation is not the answer. I think there are both structures chosen and inherent qualities of internet communication that dehumanize the people on the other side. I think the ability for people to get furious at people in other cars while driving is an example of the barriers between two people leading to losing sight of their humanity. The typically text based communication with people who are either literally or at least functionally anonymous to you inherently creates a reduction of compassion
