I'm an amateur song writer...For ME, coming up with an original melodies for a song is the hardest part of song writing...And being that I'm a poet, the lyrics comes much easier...With that being said, MAN, Paul McCartney got to be or is, a melody genius...Tons of his songs are classics due to their melody is so catchy right off the bat when you first hear his song..You can walk away, even tho you don't remember all the lyrics, but you sure as hell remember the melody...A good example is this 'Goodbye' song, Let It Be, Hey Jude, Long and Winding Road, Yesterday and so on...Not only that, he's so prolific at it too...Truly a gifted individual..
