I was a litle boy, when l heard first time this song, didn't understand a single word, with one exception goodbye, this song was and still is so beautiful (stays with my all my life)-l live in London, l am 61now. Years later l realised the author of the song is Sir Paul Macartney, l have a pleasure bumped in to outside of Doc Edward's clinic in Harlay Street, Sir Paul was very polite, l wish you a long happy life, Marry Hopkin is my love of my life haha 🌹
