Using Our Privilege to Help Others

While speaking about my experience with racism in the outdoors with the NY-NoJ Chapter of American Mountain Club, I tapped into the importance of using one's privilege to benefit communities of disenfranchised people, rather than our own equally well-off friends.

Even as a Black man living with HIV, I walk around with access to incredible resources and it is my duty to make sure that I continue to lift up people who might not otherwise enjoy those privileges.
