These concepts are so low resolution, I'm from Irish working class. we didn't 'fumble' anything, we survived. This binary of poor/slave black and rich/slave owner white is false.

His parents are both doctors, he’s sitting in a college class and still playing the victim.

I'm 7th generation American. My ancestors came to this country from Scotland as indentured servants. Most recent ancestors were farmers in VA and WV. I'm the first to go to college. I served 20 years in the military, after I retired from the military I got a degree in software engineering. I've busted my ass to get out of the "hillbilly" ghetto, my privilege was joining the military during Vietnam ...

Claiming that the idea of “fumbling” actually exists is just a way to maintain the idiocy of race-based privilege instead of admitting that privilege is based on class rather than race. You have to hold the ball in order to fumble it, and my family never even made it near the stadium.

So basically, privilege is having good parents

The amount of contempt you have to have to see someone struggling in poverty and tell them that you have an excuse for your poverty but they don't because they fumbled their privilege.

As a person of color I can tell you it’s not race it’s the culture.

He's probably the most privileged person in that room. Not only does he come from a wealthy family but also gets all the advantages of affirmative action and easier acceptance into college, along with lower academic standards.

My dad grew up with an African dirt floor and community toilet. My mother grew up with a silver American spoon. My dad did well in school, which his goat selling father paid a lot for, and went to America became and engineer. My mom became a sort-of homemaker and then left my father. She was effectively then a single mother and then worked many jobs and now lives below poverty line.
The three of us “mixed” kids grew up with some things but a lot of need (like running out of toilet paper and toothpaste). We all now are married to nice men and my two sisters have advanced degrees. We are all homemakers and mothers and are doing very well.
Your ancestry doesn’t determine your future. Your bad choices do.

Historically, everyone was oppressed. I'm from Poland, so the slavic part of the world. The word "slave" originates from the name of my ancestors.
This generational blame is plain stupid, because every race did terrible things to those around.
European peasants were treated like dirt by the novelty; could be send to die for no actual reason. Fun fact: there was something called the "first night law", where after a wedding (between two peasants), the owner of those could spend a night with the bride.
Gengis Han was a world-class pillager.
Neighbouring african tribes fought and took slaves.

Yes, black people had it unimaginably difficult in the US, there's no denying that. However, nowadays they have the same options. There are so many black people in unis, in high-paying positions, everywhere. Heck, there are a lot of black people on TY that I watch and they themselves say that nowadays black people can do anything and if someone believes different it's a victim mentality. It does seem to make sense.
