“When I was seven i was playing in the sand” EXACTLY. You’re not trans so you don’t understand how it can take over your whole life even from a young age. She is still happy with herself so clearly it wasn’t a mistake. Ignorant people smh

You guys have to get it through your thick skulls that she didn't medically transition until a legal age to do so. What she probably means is at age 7 she was just wearing dresses, etc.

When I was 7 I was convinced I was a velociraptor. I'm glad my parents did not transition me into a dinosaur.

“when I was seven-“
being trans doesn’t have an age limit 💀, just imagine coming out to your parents and them saying “sorry you don’t reach the age expiration to be yourself.”

At the age 7 I watched car crashes, then I’d go upstairs and recreate them with my hot wheels.

I started asking to buy from the boy’s section around that age, and I remember being delighted when other kids identified me as a boy. Didn’t even know trans was a thing-my parents were extremely conservative and this was the 90s. I was very sheltered. No one groomed me. I just fucking knew. It felt right and being perceived as a girl felt wrong. I tried to live as a girl after puberty hit me, because aforementioned parents. It was awful. I knew at 7 but I didn’t know what to do about it until college. The people who say they weren’t thinking about these things at 7 weren’t thinking about them because they didn’t have to. Because there was no conflict there like it is for trans people. And saying ‘oh, I was doing xyz at 7’ as if trans kids aren’t also still just playing and being children in every other respect is dumb. I knew I wanted to be a boy AND I was playing in the sandbox back then.

At age 7, I thought I was a dolphin so I hopped around everywhere with my ankles crossed whilst talking only in dolphin trills.

“When I was 7-“ did you know that trans people are most likely to have been trans their whole life without knowing for the first 10 years, this is coming from someone who’s been trans since age 8.
