Upgrade LOCKED Heroes Equipment? (Clash of Clans)

While browsing the Chief's Journey on Town Hall 9, Kenny Jo notices that you can upgrade the Hero Equipment for Both the Grand Warden and Royal Champion (both are locked due to Town Hall level restrictions). Is this intentional by Clash of Clans or a mistake?

Hopefully it actually upgrades the equipment so by the time you unlocked them you have better equipment on your heroes.

Hopefully it's a feature so it doesn't get removed. While ores are pretty tough to obtain, It would give me some peace of mind to know that I can still spend them after my current equipment are maxed.

You can also be prompted to gem th weapons when visiting a clanmate's base

Imagine upgrading Warden Internal tone to max and when he's unlocked, you see level one ability 😂

Hahaha! I found about this actually a couple weeks back. I was messing around waiting on my troops to cook and yeah I was like “wouldn’t it be funny to upgrade Royal Champions seeking shield ability?” And I actually did it, it took my ores but I’m th10 so hopefully by the time I reach her she’s upgraded a bit

You can do it even with a town hall. If you choose someone's townhall it gives you the option to complete the upgrade

Upgrading the current upgrades that were autoupgraded is annoying... wish they would at least make them autoupgrade or give us at least some stones when upgrading the hero so we can decide😊

Yeah, i did this when i was in town hall 8 and upgraded the Queen's ability up to level 6 and when i got to town hall 9 the ability were upgraded as they were.. So yeah if you have extra ores you can spend them in advance.

There is another glitch- if one of your classmates is upgrading giga Tesla of th, and you visit them and click on its details - there's an option to finish it with gems on HIS BEHALF!

I did that some days after the equipment was unlocked and I then rushed to the townhall Royal Champion, and funnily enough, her shield was ACTUALLY upgraded.
