How To Unlock ORIGIN FORM Dialga & Palkia In Pokemon Legends Arceus

How to unlock Origin Form for both Palkia and Dialga in Pokemon Legends: Arceus.

We need to get the Key items "Adamant Crystal" & "Lustrous Globe" to change their form.

For the Adamant Crystal (after the end game credits) go and fight the Diamond Clan Leader at Lake Valor - Crimson Mirelands, when we beat him he will give us the Item.

For the Lustrous Globe (after the end game credits) go and fight the Pearl Clan Leader at the Pearl Settlement - Alabaster Icelands, when we beat her she will give us the Item.

Now just use the respective Key Item on Dialga/Palkia to change them into their Origin Forms.

Fought Palkia in its Origin form just a bit ago and was... quite surprised by how it looked. I was also kind of worried that I would only be able to get that one, since it was the one I encountered so thanks for clearing up that I can not only get both but also showing how to do so.

These designs are really weird
Dialga still looks off to me even in action but palkia looks so much better in action than in a still image
I didn't get spoiled so my first time seeing origin palkia was the fight and that's probably the best way to see it for the first time because of how much cooler it is
It's height is terrifying too

Like use common sense! Or use Google for crying out loud!!

I will be answering some basic questions.

- Yes, the form changes aren’t permanent and you can change forms whenever you want.

- No, the base stat totals of the two forms areas are not different. It’s always been 680. The only thing that changes are the stat spread.

- No, you do not need Arceus in order to change forms. It’s not a fusion.

- No, the forms aren’t bad. They’re strange, because t intentional. Arceus made Dialga and Palkia to look like it. That’s why they look so wack.
The origin forms also dampen each legendary’s signature move.
Roar of Time uses throat, and Diana now has rock in throat.
Spacial Rend uses Palkia’s hands. Palkia’s hands are gone.
As messed up as the form designs are, they are VERY intentional.
Also, notice the Arceus rings around their torsos.

- Yes you have access to both form changes, and YES you can catch both legendary Pokémon.

- Where do you get the form changing items?
You get them from quests 89/90. You need to rematch Irida and Adaman in to get the items. Irida is at the Pearl settlement, and Adaman is by the big waterfall near the Diamond settlement.

When I first played thru and saw Palkia in this form I thought it had merged with Arceus in the time/space fissure. After I caught it I was confused… looking for Arceus. This is my first time playing a Pokémon game besides Pokémon Go that featured these 3 Pokémon so all of this is new to me, I feel like such a newbie even though I’m not 🤭 but I also have recently completed Pokémon Diamond/Pearl which I never originally played and the parallels were fascinating. Now I’m going to go back and get the items to change them into these forms and continue exploring the post game for both Legends Arceus and BDSP. The lore is so exciting and I love that after growing up with Red/Blue Gold/Silver the game can still feel fresh and exciting. Thanks for the video.

I’m going to put it like this, if you’re a Pearl/palkia fan pick the diamond clan, and Viceversa if you’re a diamond/Dialga fan (for whatever reason) . It will make it feel like they’re the box legendary and give you some extras for the one you actually want.
