About me:

I’m Michele Neskey, aka The Posh PA. Welcome to my channel! My mission is to provide personalized guidance, education, and motivation to build confidence and promote wellness for aspiring physician assistants and beyond.

Having been a PA for 17+ years and helped hundreds of students gain acceptance into PA school, I understand the admissions process. I know what they are looking for, and I can help you tailor every component to make you shine, giving you the BEST chance of getting accepted to a program. But it doesn't end there. I create personalized plans for PA students and practicing PAs including test-taking strategy for the PANCE, contract negotiations, and tools to overcome and prevent provider burnout.

My goal is to get you into a physician assistant (PA) school & survive the rigorous program, help you prevent burnout as a practicing PA, and help you take care of yourself so you can be the best version of YOU for your patients, family, and most importantly YOU!

I was really bummed to hear this as I was planning on applying to Yales hybrid program. It was important to me that I stay at the facility I am currently at with the people I’ve been working with for a while. Being familiar with the facility and people I’d be doing clinicals at made the entire PA journey seem a bit less daunting.

Hi Michele, thank you for providing some much needed clarification as to why Yale decided to close up shot. This was definitely concerning to me as I'm an aspiring PA student out of VA. My family and I are deeply entrenched in our home community and I have an atypical schedule which makes these types of hybrid programs so appealing. Do you, or anybody else, have any recommendations for other ARC accredited hybrid programs? THANK YOU

Sad to see it as I realized my academic struggle was tied to the program wasting hours of my time in class everyday. I used to think I was a poor test taker. After an accelerated RT program and PA school I realized that this is not the case. Some courses you get it and can move on, others may take a little more time. With powerpoints a large amount of instructors are reading to you for 8hrs a day. So how did I come with this conclusion? After passing all my EORs and my 5th board on the first time, I realize the issue with didactic failures and low scores is force timeframes and priortization.

Thank you for always creating such informative videos! I am an International Medical Graduate (IMG) interested in going the PA route in USA. Can you please make a video about how to complete pre-requisites needed for PA school as an IMG. I am so confused about the process. Am I supposed to enroll in a college in USA to take pre-requisites?

PA program is my dream study! Can you please help me what measures need to be taken?

Hii i am a nursing student but i am really interested in medicine i want to perform different procedures like physical examination, diagnosis etc but as a nurse we are more focused on patients care rather than performing procedures like suturing etc . I really want to perform different procedures like intubating a patient and in nursing we don't get to do those things . So i have thought of doing PA as a master degree. Is it ok or are there other medical professions that i can explore. Please help me
