How to fit the Berghaus Yeti Gaiter in under 2 mins! - Using nothing but your hands the Easiest Way!

The yeti gaiter is a fantastic piece of kit, but people shy away from it because they wrongly think that these are hard to fit... they are not!
Get the right size gaiter for your boot.
Make sure your boot is clean and dry
Follow the steps on the video.

Well, I tried this technique and I’ve only gone and done it. I’ve had my Berghaus Yeti gaiters for over 3 years and never got close to getting them on. Took me a few minutes with each boot. Good man 👏🏼👍

Fantastic video. Rolling the toe back on itself first means you don’t have the rubber on rubber friction that makes it so difficult normally. Thanks very much. I wouldn’t have thought about this incredibly logical idea without you.
In the end I did “cheat” and use the hair dryer to soften the sides so I could get them sat exactly where I wanted but with some stronger fingers and few more tries I would likely have got it without. Thanks again.

Oh, fantastic. I would have never have worked that out! Thankyou :-) . However these gaiters are going to get there own pair of dedicated shoes... i did find it actually very difficult getting the toes in.... had to bend the shoes in half, as it were, and then straighten them out afterwards :-) . Good man!

I’ve had my gaters since 2018 and they’ve never seen any real usage as it’s been too much of a fight to get them on.. definitely be using them more now!

Good method. It’s not dead easy if you have normal strength fingers though! Heel in, is hard, turn toe inside out is also hard on a brand new pair. Then I had to let my fingers rest for a while. Then pull the middle strap over the heel tread. Pull toe round is the very hard bit. Dead easy no. But it does work! (L onto EU43)

I fitted mine ok. Perseverance is key. Second time was easier just because I knew what to expect( NOT because they had loosened a bit). No way would I leave them on my boots when not wearing them, bends the boots, maybe with shoe trees in em. I expect my expensive leather boots to last many years so don't want them like a banana. Sizing ok, xxl for size 11 as the Yes they are very design. I had my doubts initially but worked through it. No heating, no potions just a little strength and methodical working.
