Hackers suspected to be behind the world's single biggest ransomware attack have demanded $70 million to restore the data they are holding. The demand was posted on a dark web site typically used by Russian-linked cybercrime gang REvil. The group allegedly broke into US IT firm Kaseya over the weekend. Access was used to breach Kaseya's network of clients, involving hundreds of companies worldwide. Experts believe there are victims in at least 17 countries. In June, REvil extorted $11 million from JBS, the world's largest meat processing company.

Good! don't give them anything! don't give in to bullies! The reason they're doing it again is cause it worked the first time!
