Programming BIOS without Removing the Chip using a Modified EZP2019+ with Test Clip

Modifying a EZP2019+ SPI programmer. Read and write BIOS chip without de-soldering from motherboard. Without the modification while using the test clip you will have errors reading the chip, while it is still soldered in the board. Doing the mod you will have a good grounding on pin number 4 and will have good voltage and current in pin number 8(3vdc).

I recently bought EZP2019 and thanks for this wonderful idea, now instead of putting just a jumper, i am planning to add a switch so if a direct jumper isn't needed, i just have to turn off the switch without removing the wire, best wishes

What happens if I leave the clamp on the bios chip after programming and switch on the machine? (not connected to the programmer but just clamped on because it is really hard to get the clamp in place properly) in case I have to reprogram again?

Greetings, the BIOS flasher w/ Test clip to flash BIOS and EEPROM chips is an interesting resolve I being clueless such a fix existed. Considering I've been spending endless hours attempting to normalize my corrupt BIOS that invaded my gravity standing sideways.
I have a dysfunctional Lenovo YOGA 730-15IKB Laptop, question; Are the flasher Test clip Devices universal for all computers or device specific for specific model computers?

On 2019+ it was working without problem on soldered chips. Now stop to work. Even pin 4 to gnd didn't help. Any other hints? Maybe some item on the board os damaged or clip..
