This looks fantastic. Honestly if you could actually build this out to let people who aren't great coders make HD-2D games, you could eat RPG Maker's lunch!

Wow, I'm definitely gonna keep tabs on this it looks really good so far. I assume not everything about the map will be hardcoded and it'll be pretty easy to pivot the map rendering to look however they want, say a more gen 4 style look if people preferred that once it's all done with, yeah? (gen 4 had a different camera angle that made it appear more 2D but was still entirely 3D, character (and I think tree?) sprites aside).
