Diamond Crochet Stitch - Left Handed Video tutorial

This diamond crochet stitch and crochet tutorial will teach you how to do this beautiful crochet stitch. If you've ever done Front post double crochets then this is very similar, you're only using one more loop when crocheting triple crochets. This uses a lot of single crochets so it moves pretty quick.

This is the clearest video I have watched BUT…………I have watched many videos on this stitch and also followed written directions. The diamonds do not look even as they do on this video. The edges end up having more stitches on one side by the diamonds than on the other. I give up and will look for another. I would appreciate if someone would address the problems with this stitch and how to correct them.
