The Catalinas w/ Johnny Jones 'Run Little Rabbit' Leon Russell piano
Показать описание
In spring 1964 Bobby Darin's company TM Productions produced an album for teens into surf music. It was inspired by The Marketts and was made with many of the musicians that played on Marketts records. One of them was pianist Leon Russell, who was named on the back of the album jacket as "Lew Russell." From the second session for the album, on May 20, here is "Run Little Rabbit" (written by Bobby Darin), with Johnny Jones on lead vocal. The flipside, "Queen Of the Hot Rods" was also recorded that day, along with a cover of the Beach Boys hit "I Get Around" and three other songs.
