That acceleration of the Eagle at  1:23 right before the strike is incredible.

Roy is one of the UK's top falconers if anyone should own a golden eagle he has by far the skill to keep one

That acceleration before he attacked was truly sensational.

I love it when man and nature work together for the same goal - gives me a little bit of hope in this bleak world.

I love watching birds of prey hunting. Thank you for posting such brilliant videos.

Really cool video. I like how you show the hare getting away, it makes you respect the abilities of both the predator and prey. I absolutely love this sport because it allows us, humans, the opportunity to watch a magnificent creature do exactly what it does in the wild.

Most amazing thing I've ever seen. Birds working with man to catch food. Awesome

Argocat were in production way before quad bikes and J D Gators etc. They can go across calm water by the driven wheels or can have small outboard motors fitted for choppier water

Have to admire the sight in day time as well as the strength, flying, reflexes, and weaponry of Eagles

What a beautiful raptor you have there I must say! Golden Eagles are incredable birds, just watch how he alters his speed to bring down the hare, one of the fastest animals on four legs. The grace of the bird is simply amazing, they're so clever too! How many hares can this magnificent animal take in a day?

I love animals . . . I particularly love raptors and watching them hunt.

I lucked into a HUGE Red Tailed Hawk. We would sit in the rim of the big Arroyos in New Mexico & scan for jackrabbits below. Bigun (Hawks name) usually saw em first & shed "dance" on my shoulderpad til I saw it & pointed & shed launch. She rarely missed. She taught ME about raptors & hunting w them. Amazing creature! I wore my shoulderpad under my jacket & would tap my shoulder for her to come down & land on me. Rode motorcycle while she flew above & followed. Picked up a LOT of girls that way in town. Stop for a redlight next to their cars on my bike & tap my shoulder & Bigun would fly down & land. Amazed the hell out of the women. When light turned green Id throw my shoulder & Bigun would launch off & wed play that game all over town. She REFUSED to wear a hood! Hated them. Didnt need one anyway. Id point & shed attack. Her claws were as big as my hands & her "NO" ment NO! Would grab my hand/arm & put just enough pressure to let me know she WASNT wearing that damn hood. Could have easily punched right through if she wanted to. Amazingly SMART!!

The "helmet" is a blinder. It keeps the bird calm. You take it off when the rabbit it sighted on the move and the bird snaps into action.

Man x.x why is everyone taking this soo seriously? It's such a neat approach. People make use of the talents of this eagle. The eagle doesn't suffer for missing a kill, since it will be taken care of regardless. Great trade off.

The hares will just do there best to survive against the two predators. Obviously they are pretty good at it! I'm jealous.... all we have is a tiny lap dog.
